During the last week of May, I was honored to be one of the session chairs at the Yoram J. Kaufman Symposium on Aerosols, Clouds, and Climate. A group of scientists from around the world—including the Principal Investigators (PIs) of CloudSat, Cloud-Aerosol Lidar and Infrared Pathfinder Satellite Observations (CALIPSO), and Polarization and Anisotropy of Reflectances for Atmospheric Sciences Coupled with Observations from Lidar (PARASOL)—gathered at Goddard Space Flight Center for three days, May 30-June 1.
